Well, we may have had a rather drab summer in Melbourne so far but it really was a perfect day for this little soiree overlooking the Yarra river.

I'm a sucker for garden roses a the best of times but how absolutely sweet do they look with all this delicious summer fruit! I did sample an amazing peach whilst delivering these....i hope i managed to wipe the juice from my chin when I arrived.

If you think the flowers looked good, you should have seen the food...a real summer feast.
