I was so excited to make a head piece made entirely of gardenias for an elopement this Sunday..I woke up with a spring in my step and ready to wire my little fingers off....this is what i found

2nd run around the corner to a house that i walk passed everyday...a cute little greek garden full of gardenias, lemon trees...I could hear the elderly couple talking/ yelling in their back yard. I knocked on the door and the cutest Greek lady came to the door...I started explaining myself..badly...she says I don't understand! Slowly i take a breath...I am a Florist..for a wedding..do you understand? YES..please please may i pick ALL of your gardenias.. I get my Husband..Out comes the Husband with a box and snips and a big smile...My gorgeous Greek Neighbours saved my ass..and then I made this.

I can't wait to see the photos, my first elopement and a head piece that just couldn't have more love and care and heart in it.
